Dana Telford
Dana Telford is a principal consultant, owner, and Board member of The Family Business Consulting Group, Inc. He has 25+ years of experience guiding family business owners and family office leaders as they navigate the complexities and opportunities that are inherent to influential business families. His specialties include succession planning, governance, developing family constitutions, shareholder alignment, and conflict management.
Dana has worked with more than 300 families on 6 continents in more than 30 countries, including Switzerland, Brazil, India, UAE, and Indonesia. His expertise spans a wide array of industries, including agriculture, automotive, construction, real estate, financial services, restaurants, hospitality, and home furnishings, among others. His current and former clients include self-made billionaires, a royal family, heads of state, owners of professional sports teams, and leaders of Fortune 500 companies.
Dana is an acclaimed, best-selling author and has been a guest lecturer at Harvard Business School and other distinguished universities. As a trusted advisor and strategist, Dana has been featured on numerous television and radio shows.
Dana resides with his family in Los Angeles and is a third-generation managing member of a commercial real estate firm.
